We will periodically provide studies on transit planning and its effect upon communities.

Maintaining Diversity in America's Transit-Rich Neighborhoods - released in October 2010.

This report focuses on equity in transportation and its adverse consequences of gentrification and displacement around transit stations of low income and minority populations.

This study was conducted by the Dukakis Center for Regional and Urban Policy.  Authors of this study are:  Stephanie Pollack, Barry Bluestone, Chase Billingham. 
 
This report was made possible by the generous support of the Rockefeller Foundation and was released in October 2010.

D'Alessandro Report - MBTA Review - November 2009

This report, commissioned by Governor Deval Patrick,  focuses on safety risk and financial issues at the MBTA and recommends the slow down of expansion in transit projects.
